Most of my customers come in within the first week or two of picking up a new car, which is ideal because the paint hasn't copped any real damage yet and the coating goes straight on without needing correction.
The ones who wait a few months always need more work. The bonnet's got chips, the car wash has put swirl marks in it, there's bird dropping marks in the clear coat, and all of that has to be sorted before we can coat it. So if you can, bring it in early.
